TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- A fuel spill in Tarrytown is causing environmental concerns in the Hudson River, according to News 12.

Calls to police began around 11 p.m. Wednesday night, about the smell emanating across from the Metro-North station. There was an oily layer on top of the water and booms were placed in the water to temporarily block the spillage.

Westchester County Emergency Services was called and couldn't find the source as it came from several storm drains in the area. The Department of Environmental Conservation was to join the search Thursday, according to News 12.
