Yonkers police responded to 77 Lee Ave., the address for St Paul the Apostle School, around 9:16 a.m. Thursday to investigate a white powder found in a plastic bag, police said.

Hazmat members were called out and determined the ingredient was sugar, said Det. Sgt. Dean Politopoulos.

During Wednesday's incident, at 1050 Neppherhan Ave., the white powder was found in a white envelope that was addressed, Politopoulos said.

The address is home to Graphite Metallizing Corporation.

Police believe the white powder may be drugs and there was an address mix-up, he added.

The case is still under investigation.
