Residents Voice Concern Over Dangerous Valhalla Intersection

VALHALLA, N.Y. -- Valhalla residents are crying out for increased safety measures at a busy Valhalla intersection where a teacher's aide was struck and killed by a vehicle earlier this month, according to News 12 Westchester.

The death of Brittany Mastropolo at the intersection of of Columbus Avenue and Cambridge Street prompted Mount Pleasant officials to add a bus stop downtown to reduce the number of children crossing at the intersection. Officials are also considering adding a crossing guard, News 12 Westchester reported.
