Woman, 26, Struck, Killed By Car On Mount Pleasant Roadway

MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. -- Mount Pleasant police are investigating an incident Friday in which a woman in her 20s was struck and killed by an automobile near Pat's Deli in Valhalla, according to a report by lohud.com. 

Britany Mastropolo, 26, was struck about 1 p.m. by a vehicle described as a four-door sedan that was headed north on Columbus Avenue, near Cambridge Street, lohud.com reported.

The woman was taken to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, where she died Sunday, according to lohud.com. 

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday and the investigation into the accident remains ongoing, the report said.
