MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. – Geraldine A. Listman, formerly of Hawthorne and most recently of Ossining, died on May 17. She was 78.
Listman was born on April 20, 1937, to Gerard and Rosa Maria (Rella) Auricchio in Mount Vernon, working as a registered nurse with Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, the Rosary Altar Society of Holy Rosary Church in Hawthorne, the American Association of University Women and the Mount Pleasant Seniors.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas F. Listman of Ossining; her daughters, Rose Marie Cocchiarella and her husband Joseph of Frankford, N.J., and Patricia Listman-Gumbs and her husband, Kenneth of Purdy's, her four grandchildren, Vincent, Madeline, David and Gwenneth, and her sister-in-law Lorraine Auricchio of New Rochelle.
She was predeceased by her brother, Charles Auricchio.
Visiting hours are on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Hawthorne Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be at Holy Rosary Church in Hawthorne on Saturday, May 23, at 10 a.m.
Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
