VALHALLA, N.Y. - Margaret M. Magnuson Mulligan of Valhalla died April 17. She was 63.
Mulligan was born Feb.1, 1950, to William and Mary (nee Rooney) McGovern in New York City. She was a former school board member with the Mt. Pleasant School District for nine years of which she was president for two years.
Mulligan is survived by her children, Karen (John) Miele, Jason and Scott Magnuson; and a grandson. She was predeceased by her parents.
Calling hours are Friday, April 19, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Hawthorne Funeral Home, 21 West Stevens Ave., Hawthorne, New York 10532. 914-769-4404. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne Saturday, April 20 at 9:30 a.m. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne.
