ERA Insite Realty Services, a family-owned real estate company with offices in Pleasantville, White Plains and Bronxville, is organizing and hosting this community event. The company is dedicated to supporting area non-profits who rely on fundraising and private donations to bring their services to residents. ERA Insite has ties to North East Special Recreation through some of their agents whose family members have either been recipients of services or have volunteered with the organization.

Paint night participants don’t need to have any painting experience, only the desire to have fun creating their own work of art to take home. They will receive step-by-step guidance from an experienced instructor. The event is BYOBWSS (bring your own beer, wine, soda and snacks). There will be raffles and a “penny social” to add to the evening’s festivities.

North East Special Recreation provides therapeutic recreation to about 500 children and adults each year, and is the second largest agency of its kind in NY State. They have received state-wide attention for the quality and novelty of their programs and services, including Special Olympics training, art and music therapy, summer camp, theme parties, therapeutic swim, social skills training and more.

In addition to paint night participants, raffle prizes from local businesses are also being sought, including gift certificates, products or services. Anyone wishing to participate in the paint night fundraiser or donate a raffle prize should contact Kathleen Courtney, Real Estate Salesperson with ERA Insite Realty, at KathyCourtney@verizon.net, or call the Pleasantville office at 914-769-2222 by Sept. 18. Cost to participate is $40 including all materials, 75 percent of which is tax deductible.
