Amazing Grace Circus Transforms Pocantico Hills School

POCANTICO HILLS, N.Y. -- The Pocantico Hills Parent Teacher Association presented their annual Amazing Grace Circus on Friday.

The carnival transformed the gym Jan. 29 into a big top as the school celebrated circus week, culminating with Amazing Grace Circus, a Nyack nonprofit dedicated to the circus arts and youth development.

Acrobats were twirling in the air while children were balancing plates on sticks. There were piles of cotton candy and buckets of popcorn. Volunteers helped make it a success.

The Amazing Grace Circus is a nonprofit circus arts organization, formed in 2002 at Grace Episcopal Church Nyack and dedicated to training children and teens the art of C.I.R.C.U.S. – Confidence. Imagination. Respect. Cooperation. Understanding. Success. AGC is a 501c3 nonprofit and is a recipient of a Special Congressional Award for work advocating for the physical, mental and educational health of children everywhere.
