MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. -- Students at Columbus Elementary School will spread some holiday cheer this season thanks to a toy drive that collected nearly 150 toys, games and crafts.
Columbus Elementary partnered with Ossining Children's Center to provide toys to underprivileged children 12 and under. Connie Cotrone, guidance counselor at Columbus, and center volunteer Stacey Winnick organized the drive. The school holds a toy drive every December.
