VALHALLA, N.Y. -- The Valhalla Union Free School District launched a new online sports registration program in late July.
The district said it eases the registration process and replaces the hard-copy forms previously required for a student to participate on an athletic team. The new registration platform offers the convenience of registering online for sports teams through FamilyID, according to the district.
FamilyID is a secure registration platform that provides families with an easy, user-friendly way to register for our athletic programs, and helps us be more administratively efficient and environmentally responsible.
When you register through FamilyID, the system keeps track of your information in your FamilyID profile. You will enter your demographics once and can make updates as needed.
Valhalla has three sports seasons throughout the year -- fall, winter and spring -- and a student may participate in one sport per season.
Links to required forms -- like students' Emergency Allergy Medical Plans -- are within the FamilyID site, after you click on high-school versus middle-school registration.
Information about registration, as well as other information about athletics, can be found on the district's athletics website.
