Woman Hospitalized After Shooting In Bristol, Authorities Say
A 33-year-old woman was taken to the hospital for treatment after shots rang out in Bristol Township on Tuesday night, May 7, police said in a release. Authorities received an anonymous call about gunfire near Norton Avenue and Ellwood Avenue around 10:45 p.m., township police said. They arrived and "provided immediate care" until an ambulance took the woman to St. Mary's Medical Center, authorities said. No arrests had been made as of Wednesday morning and an investigation is ongoing, they added.

Minivan Hits Three In Philadelphia, Flees Scene: Authorities
Three people are hurt after a hit-and-run crash in Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood on Monday night, May 6, city police told Daily Voice. A minivan went around a stopped vehicle and hit three pedestrians crossing B Street at the intersection with Venango Street, authorities said. The van fled the scene heading south down B Street. A Columbia County man was arrested in Forks Township after police said they caught him with a stolen gun in his backpack on Monday, May 6. Collyn Drake, 29, is charged with receiving stolen property, carrying a firearm without a license, and drug offenses, township police said. While investigating a reported child sexual abuse case in Central Pennsylvania the suspect appears to have made a confession, according to a release by the New Holland police on May 7, 2024. The investigation into Madison Bair, 30 of New Holland's alleged abuse of a girl began after the local police received a tip from a Mandatory Reporter via Child Line in October 2023, as explained in the release. Troopers are investigating after the occupants of a stolen BMW fled the scene of a crash on Monday, May 6, state police say. The car, an 850i, crashed near Blue Mountain Drive in West Penn Township sometime on Monday, authorities said.
