Jimmer Fredette Returns To Westchester Knicks WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – The Westchester Knicks, the official NBA Development League affiliate of the New York Knickerbockers, have reacquired guard Jimmer Fredette.The former Brigham Young University star is expected to be available for the team’s next game on Monday at the Westchester County Center. Friends Fulfill Israel Burial Wish For Spring Valley Woman Killed In Crash SPRING VALLEY, N.Y. -- Holly Unger of Spring Valley wanted to be buried in Israel, and that wish was fulfilled Friday thanks to the efforts of her friends and neighbors, according to a report on lohud.com. Unger died Wednesday at age 57 after a collision with a bus on Viola Road in Ramapo, LoHud reported. Ramapo police are investigating the cause of the crash, according to lohud. Governor Signs Carlucci's Mental Illness Anti-Stigma Bill NEW CITY, N.Y. – A bill by state Sen. David Carlucci, (D–Rockland/Westchester), to create the Mental Illness Anti-Stigma Fund has been signed into law. In the United States, one out of five people live with a mental illness, and nearly two-thirds of those diagnosed with a mental illness do not seek treatment. This statistic is due to the stigma that exists when discussing mental illness, which can lead to fear and hesitation in getting the help that they truly need.
